Pick up the pace, Birds

To me, the most glaring issue for the offense isn't the QB, the ground game or the poor OL play so far this season. It is the lack of urgency it shows from the opening snap each game.

The Birds are the slowest team in the NFL at getting a play off, and they run the fewest plays on offense in the league -- about 15-18 less in a game than the league average.

If you want to get talents such as Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown the ball more and benefit from the havoc they can wreak, ya gotta starting snapping it faster and, hence, more.

Take note: They've now been outgained in every game this season. While starting out 4-0, relying on the "a win is a win" philosophy, the last two weeks have shown just what a losing belief that can be.
