It's pretty obvious that the Nittany Lions made a mistake in firing Franklin. For all his perceived flaws, he has been one of the better leaders in college football for more than a decade.

The longer this Penn State coaching search goes on the more blatantly obvious it becomes just what a colossal emotionally driven brain fart of a move it was to fire James Franklin. Not to mention what absolute BS the main reason given was.
Can't win the big one or beat the best teams?
Interesting that Missouri's Eli Drinkwitz is the new favorite after Nebraska's Matt Rhule had been ... and neither one has any more, or even as much, success as Franklin in doing just that.
I'll say it again for the umpteenth time, the best man for the job is the guy PSU fired from the job.
