Ummm, should Penn State actually be looking at P.J. Fleck as its next HC? Not for nothing, but the guy just set a Minnesota record tonight with his 7th win against a ranked opponent. He's only 7-16 overall at Minnesota against ranked opponents, but, c'mon, at Minnesota that's quite impressive. Certainly better than how James Franklin fared at Penn State. Fleck's biggest win, in fact, came against Franklin and the Nittany Lions in 2019 when they were ranked No. 4.
Can't claim to be a fan of the guy's cheesy antics and mottos, but he's been pretty damn successful at a mid-level (at best) Big Ten program ... and bonus, he'd class up the gameday sideline look with his dress shirt, tie and slacks routine, which would probably thrill any of the JoePa diehards still around.
